LESSON

Power in sinusoidal system

OBJECTIVES
The objective of this lesson is to recall the basics about the study of electrical power calculation in sinusoidal circuits. The presence of conservative bipoles, such as inductors and condensers, in fact, determines that the study of energy exchanges becomes more complicated than it does in steady-state circuits. In this lesson, the concepts of active, reactive and apparent power are called up. Through a simple geometric interpretation is also introduced the complex power.
